Player’s mother U-17 Indonesian National Team Welber Jardim, Lielyana, gave her reaction after her child spoke fluent Indonesian.
Diaspora player for the U-17 Indonesian National Team, Welber Jardim, demonstrated his ability to speak Indonesian fluently when interviewed by the Indonesian National Team’s Instagram account, Sunday (22/10).
Welber Jardim is an Indonesian-Brazilian player who is part of the Sao Paulo Brazil junior team. Welber has a mother from Surabaya and a father from Brazil who is a former player in the Indonesian League.

Since last September, Welber Jardim has joined the training camp (TC) for the Indonesian U-17 National Team for the 2023 U-17 World Cup projections.
The player who was born in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, admitted that he was very happy to be able to join the U-17 Indonesian National Team TC in Germany. He expressed this by uploading a video to the Indonesian National Team’s Instagram account, Sunday (22/10).
Interestingly, in the video, Welber Jardim, who grew up in Brazil, shows good skills in speaking Indonesian.
Mrs. Welber Jardim was also proud to see her child’s ability to speak Indonesian.
“It’s not in vain that Mama always uses Indonesian at home for you,” said Lielyana, quoted from her personal Instagram story on Sunday (22/10).

The Indonesian U-17 national team is in Group A of the 2023 U-17 World Cup along with Ecuador, Panama and Morocco.
The Indonesian U-17 national team will play their first U-17 World Cup match against Ecuador at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya, on November 10.
Welber Jardim hopes that the Indonesian people can support the struggle of the Indonesian U-17 National Team in the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
“I want to be first [Indonesia] pass the group. I [juga] “We want to win,” said Welber Jardim.
“I am [juga] I want to talk to you from Indonesia. I want you to support us in the national team so that we play well in the World Cup. Thank you,” added Welber Jardim.
