The Minnesota Timberwolves signed their first victory of the new NBA season (after losing their first match against Toronto on Wednesday), Saturday, beating the Miami Heat (106-90), finalist the previous season.
Coming from the bench, Naz Reid was the top scorer for the Wolves (and the match) with 25 points. Rudy Gobert, the French pivot from Minnesota, achieved another double-double, after that against Toronto, with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Among the other results of the evening, Zach LaVine, the guard of the Chicago Bulls, shone by scoring 51 points. But he could not prevent his team’s defeat at the Detroit Pistons (118-102).
