The FMT did not arrive in time to register the players, because there was no response from this federation, the Mexican Olympic Committee made the decision to register the best placed players in the world ranking in both categories, both men’s and women’s.

Marcela Zacarías, Renata Zarazúa and Fernanda Contreras were no longer in consideration, since they have the WTA commitment in Tampico which is on the same dates as the Pan American Games, therefore, Victoria Rodríguez and Fernanda Navarro will occupy the alternate place, but None of them were registered by the Mexican Tennis Federation to compete in said event.

The country has won 50 medals in the continental tournament: 14 gold, 19 silver and 17 bronze.

The last title was won by Santiago González and Ana Paula Peña (mixed doubles, Guadalajara 2011), the last podiums were in Toronto 2015: two silver medals by Victoria Rodríguez in singles and in women’s doubles with Marcela Zacarías.

At the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador, the Mexican Tennis Federation forgot to register the Mexican Table Tennis Team and, again, the Mexican Olympic Committee intervened so that they could compete.
