MARCIANISE – The 47-year-old from Capua who yesterday evening was blocked and reported by the Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Marcianise Company, who intervened following the report of a violent dispute underway in the Aurno area of that municipality, near the parking lot of the “Campania” shopping center.
The alarm was raised by the security guards at the commercial park who, as soon as they realized the gravity of the situation, called “112”, ensuring that the military personnel arrived on site immediately.
Upon their arrival, the carabinieri, after having quelled the dispute, blocked and identified the attacker who, for the sole purpose of securing parking in one of the stalls in the area, had violently hit with a baseball bat a 45-year-old from Naples who was to occupy the position he has chosen.
The victim needed immediate medical care provided by the healthcare personnel of the 118 service, who arranged for her to be transported to the Marcianise hospital where she was found to be suffering from head trauma with a lacerated and bruised wound of the scalp, with a prognosis of seven days.
On site, the police proceeded to search the accused and his car and found, inside, the 60 cm long baseball bat used in the attack and a machete with a 36 cm blade. What was found was subjected to criminal seizure.
