LIVE – Tour of Lombardy: experience the last of Pinot and the fight between Pogacar, Roglic and Evenepoel

Given the proposed route, the race is promised – like every year – to a climber-puncher. And Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates), winner of the last two editions, is obviously the big favorite. Second in the Tour de France, the Slovenian arrives in Lombardy in good shape, as illustrated by his results in the Italian semi-classics (4th in the Giro della Toscana, 3rd in the Coppa Sabatini, 2nd in the Giro dell’Emilia and 5th in the Tre Valli Varesin).

His compatriot Primoz Roglic (Jumbo Visma), who finished on the lowest step of the podium in the Tour of Spain, and has just won the Giro dell’Emilia, will also be one to watch closely. Just like the Belgian Remco Evenepoel (Soudal – Quick-Step)who is coming off a good Tour of Spain, despite a failure in the general classification.

In addition to these three “monsters”, other runners should have the opportunity to do well: jumble, Andrea Bagioli (Soudal – Quick-Step), Richard Carapaz (EF Education-EasyPost), Marc Hirschi (UAE Team Emirates), Enric Mas (Movistar Team), Pavel Sivakov (Ineos Grenadiers), Ian Van Wilder (Soudal – Quick Step), Alexandr Vlasov (Bora-Hansgrohe), Michael Woods (EF Education-EasyPost), Adam Yates (UAE Team Emirates), Simon Yates (Team Jayco-AlUla).
