On October 27, the Leshan City Basketball League kicked off at the Muchuan County Youth Activity Center. Six teams from six counties (districts) in Leshan City participated in the competition.
The first match was between Muchuan and Mabian teams. At 3 o’clock in the afternoon, as the referee blew his whistle, players from both sides came and went, staging a wonderful offensive and defensive battle. The players on the field fought bravely, and the fans cheered and cheered off the field. The atmosphere was fiery. “The atmosphere is very good and everyone plays in harmony. Our expected goal is to go all out to play every game, play better and better, and strive to move towards the championship.” said Awu Junsi, a member of the Mabian representative team.
“I think the basketball atmosphere is very lively and intense. For me, I was better at rebounding today, but my finishing ability at the basket needs to be improved. In the future, I need to learn more from excellent opponents, improve my own shortcomings, and slowly become stronger.” Li Qingyuan, a member of the Sichuan team, said. It is understood that this basketball league will last until late November. Muchuan County, as the organizer, will host 5 of the games.
