Le Mans Falls to Unicaja Malaga in Second BCL Match

Basketball Champions League – For its second BCL match, Le Mans failed to create the feat on the floor of Unicaja Malaga (83-74).

The trip from Le Mans to Malaga had already started badly, with luggage remaining in Roissy (the Malaga team lent training deals for Le Mans players). And it did not end on a positive note, MSB losing to Unicaja Malaga (83-74), one of the favorites for the Basketball Champions League title. Worse, Williams Narace injured his ankle.

Le Mans can, however, harbor regrets given the level of play displayed by the Spaniards. But the MSB could hardly hope for better, given the copy rendered by these players from the back lines, Nate Mason (10 points at 1/11 shooting) or even DeVante’ Jones (5 passes and 6 ball losses), was mediocre. Despite the desire and a good start, the weak rotation at Le Mans (Will Yeguete forfeited), was further shortened by the exit due to an ankle injury. Williams Narace during the 3rd quarter.

Despite a good Léopold Delaunay (8 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists), the Sarthois struggled more and more in attack as the match progressed. Not necessarily sovereign, Malaga nevertheless did what was necessary, notably with former ASVEL player Dylan Osetkowski (20 points at 7/13 shooting), to finally win (83-74).

After its inaugural victory against Peristeri and therefore this defeat in Malaga, Le Mans has a record of one victory and one defeat in this BCL group A.
