Golden State’s shooter: “I was already here before we won titles, so in some ways I feel like this team is my creation too.”
In a long interview with “The Athletic”, Klay Thompson swore loyalty to the Warriors: “I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else, playing your whole career in one team is truly a rare thing. I was already here before we won titles, so in some I feel like this team is also my creation and I can’t imagine myself wearing another shirt.”
Thompson concluded: “Just the fact that I’m about to play my 13th season in the NBA makes me feel at peace. I feel like I’ve been lucky beyond measure.”
