The 24-year-old Austrian has had a dream week so far, and after qualifying, he defeated Sebastian Baez, a top 30 player, in two sets in the round of 16.
Now Rodionov has to deal with the number 34 in the world: the 35-year-old Frenchman Adrian Mannarino. Rodionov won the only duel between the two so far in 2019 at the Challenger in Rennes.
