Every year, during the autumn holidays, Judo Villefranche invites a renowned judoka. This year, Yves Cadot came to lead two days of training for children and for teenagers and adults. All participants in this course were delighted with their day. All you had to do was hear the number of questions asked at the end of the sessions by the judokas to Yves Cadot. “How do you say hello in Japanese?” Or thank you? In any case, Yves Cadot has revealed himself as an expert whose simplicity is matched only by his competence.
This next weekend, the Villefranche judokas will approach other great judokas as part of today’s champions. Indeed, the club is organizing a trip to Montpellier, Saturday and Sunday, for the European championships which take place in the Hérault prefecture.
In the club’s busy program this fall, we must not forget the traditional gala on November 11. Every year, on Armistice Day, many judokas tread the tatami mats installed for the occasion in the Adrien Blanchet room (basketball room), in the gymnasium. This year the competition will be open to chicks, youngest and youngest categories. This day of November 11 is the great judo celebration.
