“Alcaraz said that every time he went to training, every time he played, he thought of Djokovic. My first thought on this is that I can understand it even though Alcaraz beat Novak at Wimbledon and he was a bit of a thorn in his side. “You have to be careful saying that, because then you’re only preparing for one player. And I also understand that you say to yourself that if I play well enough to beat this guy, I will be able to beat everyone else too. But that’s not necessarily true, because other guys have different games, like he saw with Sinner, and the way he plays is different than Novak or Medvedev. »
