Jets Celebrate Return of Nathaniel Hackett with a 31-21 Victory over Broncos

The Jets celebrated the return of Nathaniel Hackett to Denver with a 31-21 victory over the Broncos.

The Big Apple team left Mile High with the victory thanks to the 72-yard score by running back Breece Hall, as well as the 39-yard touchdown run by cornerback Bryce Hall after a fumble by Russell Wilson in the last minute.

This result gave some satisfaction to Hackett, now the Jets’ offensive coordinator, after being fired as head coach of the Broncos at the end of the previous season.

But the Jets’ victory had a special flavor for one of Aaron Rodgers’ best friends after Sean Payton, his successor in Denver, destroyed him with strong comments about his performance as head coach.

“When you lose to the ‘offseason champs,’” with a photo of comedian Kevin James, who played Payton for a movie.

The Jets (2-3) overcame a poor first half to end a three-game losing streak, while the Broncos (1-4) lost for the third time at home.
