Jairo Ramos Gizzi he is no longer the coach of BBC Grosseto Spirulina Becagli. The paths between the manager originally from La Guaria, Venezuela, and the Viale della Repubblica club were divided after a series of meetings, at the end of which an agreement for a renewal was not found.

The one between Ramos Gizzi and Grosseto still remains a great love. Jairo arrived as Luis Lunar’s coach in the spring of 1998 and after discovering his Italian origins he was registered as a player. From the match against Modena to the 2009 season, at the end of which he moved to Bologna, it was a succession of emotions. His bat, together with his play as a first baseman, was decisive for many Grosseto victories, starting with the championships of 2004 and 2007, up to the 2005 Champions Cup in Rotterdam. In 2008 he led Montepaschi Bbc together with Paolo Minozzi for the final part of the season, after the dismissal of Mauro Mazzotti.
