Again according to what the survey reports, in fact, travelers on holiday in Italy spend over a third of their food expenditure on consuming meals in restaurants, pizzerias, trattorias or farmhouses, but also on enjoying street food or purchasing food and wine souvenirs in markets, festivals and village fairs.

An economic impact which, as he explained Coldiretti, it was valued at more than 30 billion euros in 2023.
