The national men’s football team beat Malta 4-0 in the fifth round of qualifying for next year’s European Championships. The goals of the match, played on Saturday evening at San Nicola di Bari, were scored by Giacomo Bonaventura, Domenico Berardi (2) and Davide Frattesi. With this victory, Italy remains in second place in group C with three points less than England (against whom they will play on Tuesday) and tied with Ukraine, who however have one game more.
