Algeria faced Egypt in a friendly match that looked like a summit shock on the African continent. A tense meeting between two teams who have a dispute and who are contenders for the title during the next CAN which will take place in January in Ivory Coast. With this in mind, the match was played at a lively pace and, despite their numerical inferiority, it was the Pharaohs of Egypt who opened the scoring shortly after the hour mark.
