Injuries Plague NFL Games: Kenny Pickett, Mike Evans, and Tre’Davious White Sidelined

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett suffered a knee injury in the third quarter of the game against the Houston Texans.

The Steelers, trailing by 10 points, tried to convert a 4th down with 90 seconds left in the third quarter, but Pickett was tackled by Jonathan Greenard, which allowed the Texans to recover the ball.

Pickett remained on the ground for a few minutes after the hit before trainers came to tend to him.

He slowly got up and limped off the field before entering the medical tent on the sideline.

He stayed there for a few minutes before returning to the locker room. The team said he had a knee injury but did not say which one.

Pickett was replaced by Mitch Trubisky.

Mike Evans leaves in the 2nd quarter

The clash between wide receiver Mike Evans of the Bucs and cornerback Marshon Lattimore of the Saints did not last long.

The Tampa Bay star left the game in the 2nd quarter with a thigh injury.

Before his departure, Evans had caught the three passes directed in his direction for gains of 40 yards.

Evans and Lattimore had been ejected for a fight when they clashed in the second week of the 2022 season.

The worst to predict for White?

The Buffalo Bills suffered a heavy loss in their victory against the Miami Dolphins. Cornerback Tre’Davious White left on a cart after injuring his Achilles tendon.

With his face hidden in a towel, White seemed to understand the severity of his injury as he left the field.

White was covering Tyreek Hill when he dropped to the ground and threw his helmet to the ground.

The injury comes less than two years after White tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

A first-round pick in 2017, White was named to the NFL’s first all-star team following the 2019 season.
