Hurkacz Vies for ATP Finals Spot as Auger-Aliassime Falters

Hurkacz is the German’s competitor for one of the three remaining places available for the ATP finals in Turin.

Due to the defeat against Auger-Aliassime, the Pole remains 430 points behind the Olympic champion in the “race”. After a largely weak season, the Canadian has no chance of taking part in the unofficial World Cup.

In the world rankings, which are not identical to the race, Auger-Aliassime remains in the top 20 due to the points defended. Hurkacz is eleventh.
