Texan Football will welcome Morehead State to Memorial Stadium on Saturday at 6 p.m. The first 1,000 fans will receive Homecoming T-shirts once entered through the gates. During the game, three lucky fans will be selected with one going home with four George Strait tickets for his upcoming concert in Fort Worth.

TEXAN BASKETBALL hosts Midnight Madness tonight. Both the men’s and women’s team will fill Wisdom Gym with doors opening at 11 p.m. for their annual season tip-off event. Purple and White T-shirts will be given to early arriving fans to support their side during the scrimmage. Both squads will be introduced to the expected full crowd, followed by a Hot Shot Contest and Dunk Contest. In finale, the men’s team will have an eight-minute intrasquad scrimmage to end the festivities. Participating in the Hot Shot Contest are women’s representatives Teresa Da Silva and Andjela Bigovic and men’s players Devon Barnes and Jakorie Smith. Hoping to wow the crowd in the dunk contest this year are newcomers Zaakir Sawyer and Izzy Miles and last year’s participant, KiAndre Gaddy. Texan Women’s Basketball will host their first exhibitions games of the season on Oct. 25 against McMurry and the men will host Howard Payne on Oct. 30 at 8 p.m.

TEXAN FOOTBALL returns for its fourth home game of the season deemed “The Hottest Ticket in Town” on Saturday night at 6 p.m. The Texans will host Morehead State in a non-conference tilt. The first 1,000 early-arriving fans will receive a free homecoming t-shirt. In addition, three lucky fans will be chosen to compete against one another for four George Strait tickets for his future concert in Fort Worth. Last week, the Texans fell in a heartbreaking double-overtime thriller in Eastern Kentucky. Tarleton exploded for 316 yards on the ground, the most since 2021. Derrell Kelley III and Kayvon Britten each ran for over 100 yards, the first Texan duo since 2021 to accomplish the feat.

TEXAN SOCCER hosts its final pair of matches of the season. On Thursday, the Texans will be hosting California Baptist at 7 p.m. and it will be Pups at the Pitch night where fans are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends for a fun time at the pitch. Dogs will be gifted with a purple Tarleton frisbee and dog treats, water stations will also be provided. On Sunday, Tarleton will host Grand Canyon in its regular season finale at 1 p.m. Prior to the match, the Texans lone senior, Macie Witter will be honored in recognition of her final game as a Texan in Stephenville. Last week, the Texans dropped a pair of matches in Utah.

TEXAN VOLLEYBALL will host UTRGV for its lone match of the week on Saturday. Last week, the Texans dropped a pair in a 3-0 sweep to conference leader, Stephen F. Austin, and a tough loss in a 3-2 heartbreaker at UT Arlington. Tarleton hopes to correct its six-game skid as they currently sit in ninth in the WAC with a 2-6 conference record.

TEXAN WOMEN’S GOLF hits the road for the Little Rock Women’s Classic beginning on Sunday. Last time out, the Texans won the team title at Texan Match Play, the first home event held as a Division I program for Tarleton. Tarleton swept Texas Southern in the first round before securing three wins against Stephen F. Austin in the title match.
