Heracles Almelo will take on SC Heerenveen on Saturday evening in Friesland. The Herac residents are supported by almost seven hundred supporters in the Abe Lenstra Stadium. Jan Smit also travels with the fans to Heerenveen.
The honorary chairman of Heracles does not often attend away matches, but makes a special exception for SC Heerenveen. “It’s good that as many supporters as possible are coming along,” says Smit on the Heracles Almelo club website. “Heerenveen is also special to me. The honorary chairman of SC Heerenveen is Riemer van der Velde, he is a good friend of mine.”
“So I am also going to Heerenveen. It is a very nice achievement and a good thing that the supporters unconditionally support our selection. We have to take three points with us, of course,” concludes Jan Smit.
