The Spanish Pyrenees and the city of Vancouver in Canada have thrown in the towel. In a forum a French collective is alarmed: “If the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regions have formalized their candidacy (…) it is because the others refused”.
