Guardiola: A PSG legend lets loose on the coach!

David Ginola made the heyday of PSG in the early 90s before flying to Newcastle in 1995. As part of this Champions League meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Ginola took the opportunity to talk about the shock and congratulate PSG for Luis Enrique.

Nasser AlKhelaïfi clearly expressed itself in June 2022 on its vision for the renewal of PSG. More bling-bling and glitter and room for a coherent sporting project and in particular with the greater presence of a French contingent. Through the last summer transfer window, the president of PSG saw its vision being respected with the arrivals of‘Ousmane Dembélé and of Lucas Hernandez among others.

PSG bets on Luis Enrique

Furthermore, the PSG made the choice to name Luis Enrique as new coach. Winner of the Champions League with FC Barcelona in 2015 and with global experience thanks to his position as coach with Spain, Enrique has implemented a philosophy of pressing and clear possession at PSG.

Ginola validates Enrique: “We must give, like Guardiola, time”

Ancient glory of PSG, David Ginola validated the choice Luis Enrique carried out by the Paris Saint Germain during an interview for Le Parisien. “Luis Enrique is a great choice for me. But it won’t be a very good choice over a year. We must give, like Guardiola, time. We must give a real chance to people who have a real vision. We cannot change coaches every year. It’s almost impossible. A group needs to have stability, to know each other, to work, to improve together and not in a dispersed manner.”
