German Athletes Dominate World Judo Championships with Multiple Gold Medals

Exactly after ten years it has Wolfgang Löffler achieved again in the M9 -73 kg age group. He will be world champion again. After a bye, he defeated the American Corneliu Mihalca and reached the semi-finals. He wins it as does his teammate Lahence Gherram and both are in an all-German final of these World Championships. Wolfgang Löffler wins this duel and wins the gold medal, Lahence Gherram becomes vice world champion.

The second German world champion Willy Huber Although he lost his first fight against the Canadian Ralph Ibanez in the M9 -66 kg class, he was later disqualified in the fight against the Finnish Tom Pahlmann.
