Georgia Tech’s Homecoming Game Against North Carolina to be Televised Nationally on ACC Network

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech football’s homecoming game versus nationally ranked North Carolina will kick off at 8 p.m. on Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field and be televised nationally on ACC Network, the Atlantic Coast Conference and its television partners announced on Sunday morning.

As part of ACC Network’s primetime telecast, Georgia Tech will also host ACCN programming live on campus throughout the weekend, including Friday’s “ACC PM” show and Saturday’s “ACC Huddle” broadcasts. Details will be announced in the coming days.

In addition to homecoming festivities and ACCN’s on-campus programming, the Oct. 28 game against UNC will feature Georgia Tech’s On-Campus Salute to Paul Johnson in honor of his upcoming induction to the College Football Hall of Fame.

Helluva Block Party driven by Hyundai will begin at 4 p.m., with the team’s arrival on Yellow Jacket Alley at 5:30 p.m. and pregame concert immediately following Yellow Jacket Alley. Details on this week’s Helluva Block Party performer will also be announced this week.

Georgia Tech and North Carolina are meeting for the 58th time in a series that dates back to 1915. The Yellow Jackets hold a 32-22-3 all-time advantage in the series, including wins in four of the last five matchups. Tech has knocked off nationally ranked Carolina teams each of the past two seasons with a 45-22 victory over No. 21 UNC in 2021 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and a 21-17 triumph over the 13th-ranked Tar Heels last season in Chapel Hill, N.C.
