Gang Brawl Erupts in Milan: One Dead, Two Injured in Drug-Related Altercation

Settling scores with firearms, knives, baseball bats. Two opposing gangs from the Milanese area met between Sesto San Giovanni and Cologno Monzese for drug-related causes. The outcome of the brawl is one man was stabbed to death and two were injured, one of them from a gunshot. According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, it seems that the two opposing groups met to settle accounts in the context of their drug-related activity. The choice of location also confirms this lead: a closed road behind the cemetery, from which some witnesses saw a group of men fleeing with baseball bats in their hands. The Carabinieri of the Milan provincial command are working on the dynamics of the events and the identity of the participants.

According to those investigating the case, the two gangs had arranged to meet bargaining linked to a drug deal. Then there would be the attempt to steal money or the same doses and precisely this would have been the spark that transformed the “business” meeting into a va slow battle with knives, guns and sticks. The one who fared the worst was a 30-year-old foreigner, presumably North African, who died after being stabbed in the throat. A second young man was injured, but not seriously, and was hit in the wrist by a gunshot. A third man was brutally beaten, probably after being hit several times with a baseball bat. Transferred to hospital with trauma and bruises all over his body, his life is not in danger.
