Among the winners Gaetano Castrovilli, Fiorentina, and the swimming champion Lorenzo Zazzeri. With gold medal at Atletica Firenze Marathon, winner of the 2023 championship. Which boasts, among others, the vice champion of the world shot put Leonardo Fabbri. The European U23 long champion Larissa Iapichino. The European indoor 60 meters champion Samuel Ceccarelli.

The merits concern the athletes, technicians, managers and sports clubs of Florence and the municipalities of the metropolitan city who have achieved important national, European and international results for which the national commission and the president Giovanni Malagò they wanted to recognize the CONI honor for the year 2021. Also speaking at the ceremony were the provincial president of ANSMeS – National Association of Stars and Palms for Sporting Merit Giovanni Carniani, the technical coordinator of Coni Florence Andrea Agatensi.
Athletics Florence Marathon: “A recognition given by CONI” to the flag of sporting bodies which, with continued and meritorious action in the field of promotion and competitive activity, have contributed to spreading and honoring sport in the country.
