Tournaments for young judo players took place in Wörth an der Donau for all age groups. At the U15 Upper Palatinate Championship, Eva Forster from FC Schwarzenfeld achieved first place in the class up to 57 kilograms. Lisa Kneißl came second in the class up to 48 kilograms. Both are therefore qualified for the North Bavarian Championship in Vohenstrauß.
At the U11 ranking tournament, Jakob Piehler took second place in his weight class and David Kbiltsetsklashvili came third.
Sam Bäumler won the U9 district championship ahead of Toni Klonner and Nikita Kbiltsetsklashvili. Thomas Jankowiak and Samuel Groß each took third place in the U13 ranking tournament. (sks)
