Winning the first game in extension, the crowd settled in for what was to become the match of the day, a 53-minute blinder.

The women’s doubles final will be a dynamic encounter featuring the ever entertaining Australian pair of Setyana Mapasa and Angela Yu after they dispatched the twins from Chinese Taipei in the semifinal. They will however face another young pair from Chinese Taipei after they came through in a comfortable win in their match.
