There were extremely exciting encounters last Saturday on September 30th against LZ Multikraft Wels in both the school league and the state league.
First the student league was played, although we had a bye with Gruber Anna -27kg, the encounter developed into an extreme nail-biter.
In the first half of the season we surprisingly had to give up the -30kg, -42kg, -46kg and -50kg weight classes to Wels, although we actually expected to score one or two points here. The points for Kirchham were Gruber Anna -27kg, Coric Theo -34kg, Stiegler Maximilian -38kg and Gegenleitner Bruno +50kg, so the score was 4:4.
The second half of the season developed in a similar way, the same points were scored as in the first half of the season, only this time Blohberger Luca -42kg was able to get the decisive additional point for Kirchham, which meant we were able to turn the game in our favor and the final score was 09 :07 for Kirchham.
The supervisors were Medl Mario, Beiskamer Rupert and Leb Stefan Sr. included.
The subsequent state league was almost more exciting than the school league.
Unfortunately we couldn’t fill the -50kg and -55kg weight classes, so we had to give up 4 points to Wels.
In the first round -60kg with Zagler Nico and -66kg with Vichtbaur Elias were able to win safely, there was nothing to be gained against the strong Welser Idigov Abdul-Rahmsan -66kg and Ben Sad Firas -73kg, Beißkammer Johannes -73kg was able to score again against Pichler Clemens.
Medl Dominic -81kg was also able to prevail, surprisingly Kemptner Bernhard -81kg and Prielinger Simon -90kg had to give up the points to Wels, Beiskammer Lukas was the clear winner because Wels couldn’t field anyone in the +90kg class.
This resulted in the unexpected score of 6:5 for Wels.
The second half of the season developed similarly, for Kirchham Zagler Nico -60kg, Leb Stefan -66kg, Huemer Kevin -73kg, Medl Dominic -81kg got the points again, but Sonntagbauer Nico -81kg was finally able to prevail in a long golden score fight and took it Point for Kirchham, so it was already a draw for us, now it was up to Prielinger Simon -90kg whether we could still get a win, this time he didn’t let himself be surprised and went into the fight with more concentration, he was able to do so with a nice ippon technique get an important point for us and we managed to turn the result in our favor with 07:09.
The team was looked after by Beiskammer Bernhard.
In the table we are tied at the top with Mühlviertel, now there will be a decisive encounter at home against Mühlviertel on November 4th as to who will become champions in the State League A.
