Danny Care (England scrum-half): “They look a lot alike, they shout at me with their big voices. I think they’re very similar players, very similar characters, but I would also say they have subtle differences, obviously. If you’ve watched Owen recently, he’s a great number 10. Owen will probably push the line a little more, but both are incredible leaders and the same goes for Marcus (Smith).
I put all three of them on the field, no matter who throws the ball. They will probably make a good decision with what you gave them. Always talking, always wanting the ball, always commenting. All three. We are very lucky to have all three of them. There is always someone who wants the ball. But I think the bonds they can form together are very unique. They gave glimpses of it and I hope we can continue to give glimpses of it. I can’t say which one I prefer! »
