Elite Youth Badminton Circuit Holds First Stage in France to Qualify for French Youth Championships

The V3F (Volant des Trois frontières) is hosting, from this Friday, October 20 until Sunday, October 22, the first stage of the Elite Youth Badminton Circuit, a competition bringing together the best young people in France in the junior, junior and cadet categories. With a new competitive offer among young people: five matches instead of three.

In total, 220 young people from eleven French regions will travel to Saint-Louis and Village-Neuf. For the players in the top 5, the objective is to take as many points as possible to ensure qualification for the French Youth Championships in May 2024. Seven players will defend the colors of the V3F: Bohrhauer Sarah in junior ladies’ singles 1; Mathiot Flore-Ann in junior ladies’ singles 2; Perdoux Charlie in junior men’s singles 1; Schwob Lina in women’s singles 2 and women’s doubles; Strich Thomas in men’s singles 1 and men’s doubles; Oswald Leelou in junior ladies’ singles and ladies’ doubles; El Gazri Elias in cadet men’s singles and men’s doubles. For many, it will be about gaining experience and competing against the best French level. During these three days, the matches will take place at the RiveRhin in Village-Neuf and at the Sportenum in Saint-Louis, except on Sunday, the final day at the Sportenum.
