The resolution was adopted last Thursday within the framework of an extraordinary assembly held by the Executive Committee of the COD, where it states that the faults “have been aggravated by a series of judicial and administrative decisions initiated by these federations that violate the rights of authority of the Dominican Olympic Committee and the ethical and legal principles of the institution and the national Olympic movement.
That day, 32 federations met urgently to discuss the issue of the bank blockade of COD funds and voted unanimously to disaffiliate the Dominican Precision Shooting Federation and suspend its president Manuel Figuereo for 20 years “from all Olympic activities.” Happy and the rest of the board.

The governing body of sport in the country seized the Ethics and Disciplinary Commissions of the files of the federations that served as support to issue the resolutions on July 11, when they were suspended for a period of 90 days, a period that expired on July 11. of this month.
