The third session of the Disciplinary Commission of the Latvian Hockey Federation (LHF) of this season took place today, where 8 issues were considered.
1. About the Latvian Children and Youth Hockey Championship (LBJČH) U15 group on October 15 game no. 31 between the teams “HS Baltija Vilki” and “HS RĪGA 2010”, in which player no. 79 L. Reynol received 85 penalty minutes as a member of the “HS Baltijas Vilki” team for fighting, disrespecting the referees and physical contact with the referee.
Decided:
1.1. Based on Articles 3, 6.2, 9, 12.2 of the LHF Disciplinary Penalties Regulations. and points 24, apply L. Reynol’s disqualification until 2023/2024. g. at the end of the season.
1.2. In case of repeated and/or further international transfer of L. Reinol to Latvia, invite the LHF transfer commission or board to consider and evaluate the issue of the need to approve L. Reinol’s transfer to Latvia and participation in the competitions organized by the LHF.
2. About LBJČH U15 group match on October 15 no. 31 between the teams “HS Baltija Vilki” and “HS RĪGA 2010”, in which player no. 11 M. Vershetskyi received a 5+20 minute penalty for kicking and a 5+20 minute penalty for fighting as a member of the “HS RIGA 2010” team.
Decided:
2.1. Based on LHF DSN 6.2. and 14.1. points, apply a 5-game suspension to M. Vershetskyi.
3. About LBJČH U15 group match on October 15 no. 31 between the teams “HS Baltija Vilki” and “HS RĪGA 2010”, in which player no. 10 K. Olksna received a 5+20 minute penalty as a member of the “HS Baltija Vilki” team for an attack in the head and neck area.
Decided:
3.1. Based on LHF DSN 14.1. point, apply a 3-game suspension to K. Olksna.
4. About JAHL October 15 game no. 31 between the teams “HS RIGA” and “Prizma”, in which player no. 9 NK Kuks as part of the “Prizma” team received a 20-minute penalty for disrespecting the referees.
Decided:
4.1. Based on point 9 of the LHF DSN, apply a 2-game suspension to NK Kuk.
5. About Optibet Hockey League (OHL) October 15 game no. 34 between the teams “HCPanter” and “HK MOGO/LSPA”, in which player no. 93 RM Lejnieks as part of the “HK MOGO/LSPA” team received a 20-minute penalty for an unexpected hit on the opponent.
Decided:
5.1. Based on LHF DSN 14.1. point, apply a 2-game suspension to RM Lejnieks.
6. About LBJČH U14 group match on October 15 no. 17 between the teams “HS Falcons U14” and “HS RIGA 2011”, in which the start of the game was delayed by 19 minutes, because the presence of a doctor was not ensured in time.
Decided:
6.1. Based on point 21 of the LHF DSN, impose a 50 EUR fine on the “HS Falcons U14” club.
7. About JAHL October 15 game no. 34 between the teams “HS Falcons” and “Zemgale Juniors”, in which players no. 16 R. Vitols and no. 87 A. Karaš participated in the game as part of the “Zemgale Juniors” team with different colored pants.
Decided:
7.1. Based on point 16 of the LHF DSN, impose a 100 EUR fine on the “Zemgale Juniors” club.
8. About the OHL October 12 game no. 30 between the teams “7BET-HOCKEY PUNKS” and “HK MOGO/LSPA”, in which several violations of an organizational nature were found for the home team.
Decided:
8.1. Based on point 21 of the LHF DSN, impose a 100 EUR fine on the “7BET-HOCKEY PUNKS” club.
