Dirk Kuyt is about to revive his coaching career. The 43-year-old trainer is negotiating an employment contract with Konyaspor, De Telegraaf reports.
Kuyt has been without an employer since his departure from ADO Den Haag in November last year. The former international had a difficult start to his coaching career in The Hague. After 176 days, Kuyt’s first job as head coach in professional football came to an end.

He can now resume his career at Konyaspor a year later. The club occupies fifteenth place in the Turkish league. He is no stranger to the Süper Lig: he was a Fenerbahçe player between 2012 and 2015.
With Patrick Kluivert, there is currently another Dutch trainer working at the highest Turkish level. He occupies third place with Adana Demirspor, behind Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray.
