Dalma Maradona told what is different about Diego’s new documentary

Dalma Maradona He chose to tell his father’s story from his perspective and with unpublished material for fans of the iconic athlete. In this context, Gianinna Maradona’s sister told how it is different “God’s daughter” of the various audiovisual tributes that his father received over the years.

“Everyone has already done things about it and there is a lot of material floating around, but it seems to me that what is different about this series is that It is a cut from my point of view; something that no one can have,” Dalma Maradona began in dialogue with La Nación.

In that sense, the daughter of Maradona expressed: “It is telling my relationship with him from my eyes, what he was like as a father and a person and of course, a kind of gift for him. It happened to me that when talking to his friends or people who knew him, none of them spoke to me about football, most of them told me: ‘He helped me in my work’, ‘He gave me a profession.’”

“It was very exciting for me because a lot of things are always said, good and bad, but you never know what is true and what is not. You say: ‘What do I know if he fought for the salary of all the youth players when he played for Napoli’, until you come across that person who tells you: ‘Yes, it’s real. Your dad fought my salary.’ And that is beautiful for me,” the famous woman recalled with emotion.

Unprecedented

“For the first time I share a file with videos, photos and images that have never been seen before. Even though it was a different time, my mother recorded us all the time; It makes me sad because she doesn’t appear much because she is the one who records,” Dalma Maradona said about the new elements to which the public will have access.

And he concluded: “She is very jealous of her material but I told her: ‘This is my documentary,’ so she shared it with me. I am truly grateful to have that material, to have lived my entire life with it; “That is truly a blessing to me.”
