Arlington, Texas. – After a tight and exciting game on Friday night, which opened the Fall Classic and ended with victory for the Ranger, this Saturday the D-Backs crushed the locals, with a spectacular Ketel Marte who remains unstoppable.

The Arizona Snakes relied on the arm of Merril Kelly who kept the Rangers offense in check, who only allowed three hits and fanned nine batters.

It was not until the fourth inning that the Diamondbacks scored their first run, after a solo home run by Gabriel Moreno to center field. And to continue the good momentum, Gurriel Jr. would drive in Pham’s score to make things 2-0.

In the seventh inning they would score two scores again, with simple hits and great throws to the plate by Thomas and Longoria, the latter having driven Thomas in moments before.

Marte would hit one more night and set a postseason record

The one who would have his night apart would be Ketel Marte, who hit a hit in the eighth to make the score 6-1. The Dominican managed to set the record with a hitting streak in the Major League postseason with 18 consecutive games.

Peterson and Gurriel closed a great night for the D-Backs in the ninth inning, with a single by Emmanuel Rivera. This made the score 9-1 and marked the sentence against the Rangers, who throughout the game never knew how to overcome the first runs.
