Collazo: “It’s a luxury to have the support of the players and staff”

“After a mixed start to the season, Brive is on a good dynamic with three consecutive victories. What do you think?
We first had to take the measure of the Pro D2 with a group almost half renewed with twenty departures for fifteen arrivals. We also had to find the rhythm and get the players to take ownership of Pro D2. Recruitment was late due to our sporting situation at the end of last season with a lot of foreign players who do not have the knowledge of this Championship which has a very specific specificity. During the first block, we could have brought home one more victory which would have allowed us to be a little more on track from an accounting point of view. We weren’t able to bring home points and we didn’t get the momentum going that we would have liked. On the second block, we corrected the situation and returned to standards more in line with the team’s potential, whether in terms of winning or scoring attempts. It proves that we are starting to take the rhythm and measure collectively.
