Cochabamba Wheelchair Basketball Team Aims for Victory at Bolivia Cup

The Cochabamba wheelchair basketball team will travel tomorrow to Santa Cruz, where it will participate in the Bolivia Cup, which will take place from October 12 to 14, with the mission of winning the title.

“The team will do its best. We want to bring the title back to Cochabamba and show that we have a good team to be champions,” said Pablo Camacho, a member of the Valladolid team, in time to indicate that last year they were runners-up in Potosí.

Juan Carlos Argandoña, coach of the national team, assured that they have been preparing for this national team for a month and a half.

The Cochabamba team, which is made up of 22 players, will travel to Santa Cruz thanks to the support of the Departmental Sports Directorate (Didede).

The delegation is composed of the following players: Joel Achá, Grover Sajama, Isa Ojeda, Nestor Limachi, Emmanuel Ramos, Grover Caceres, Deterlino Castellon, Edwin Cazorla, Edgar Alave, Pablo Camacho and René Nina in men’s; Aleida Vara, Scarlet Planos, Berenice Gutierrez, Gloria Mamani, Rogelia Quiruchi, Elvira Mamani, Cristina Rojas, Deisy Santos, Jhannet Quinteros and Mirian Jimenez in ladies.
