Coccia Siblings Honored with ‘Golden Lily for Sport’ Award in Foligno Ceremony

Ceremony in Foligno full of emotions

Manuel, Miriam and Michelle Coccia of Avezzano, members of the ASD GJK Foligno 1963, received yesterday, during the awards ceremony, organized by the municipality of Foligno, the “Golden Lily for Sport”.

Yesterday, the Municipality of Foligno awarded the “Golden Lily to Sport” award ceremony, public recognition to athletes from Foligno (or “linked” to Foligno sports clubs), who have distinguished themselves nationally and internationally.
During the evening Manuel, Miriam and Michelle Coccia (three judo athletes from Avezzano), Daeniel Cabrera, Vito Musso and Maestro Giampaolo Magri, of ASD GJKano Foligno 1963 received this recognition together with other athletes and clubs.
“Thanks to the Municipality of Foligno for this important recognition” they say Manuel, Miriam and Michelle Coccia3 athletes (and brothers) from Avezzano, who have been registered for judo in Foligno for some years.
“It was an exciting evening and for us, being able to receive all three together, recognition from the municipal administration of Foligno, for the goals achieved in the sport we practice, was exciting”
