Cobres takes the new Umia format

In the women’s category, the victory went to Nuria Romero from Lugo, who achieved a time of 38:25. Second position went to her teammate Emma Fernández and Sabela Castro, from Canoeing Outes, completed the podium.

In the canoe, the victory went to the islander Yeray García, who completed the route with a time of 34:53. The islander was escorted to the podium by the members of Náutico O Muiño Carlos Picón and Adrián Sieiro. In the women’s category, the winner was the palista del Kayak Tudense Cristina Soutelo, who completed the route with a time of 42:44. The young woman was also escorted on the podium by two local paddlers: María Pérez Aragunde and Carla Sieiro. In the youth category they won Victor Devesa (City of Lugo) and Daniela Alvarez (Kayak Tudense) in kayak, while in canoe they were Joel Correa (Kayak Tudense) and Lara Remigio (Náutico O Muiño) the winners. In the cadet category he won Alexandre Míguez (Vilaboa) and Dawn God (Náutico de Cobres) in kayak and Alexandre Meis (Nautico O Muiño) in the canoe.

A total of 170 paddlers from all over Galicia, and even the Basque Country and Asturias, participated in the test.
