Champions League: what is PSG’s next European match?

After the slap received at Newcastle (4-1), which illustrated its offensive and defensive failings, Paris Saint-Germain must already look to the future. Second in Group F with three points, behind Newcastle (4 points) and ahead of AC Milan (2 points) and Borussia Dortmund (1 point), the Parisians are already forced to react in the next match.

Due to the international truce, PSG’s next European match will only take place in three weeks, on Wednesday October 25. Luis Enrique’s men will then host AC Milan for their first clash, two weeks before the return match at San Siro. After two draws (0-0 against Newcastle and Dortmund), the Milanese must also win if they want to put themselves in a good position to secure a place in the round of 16.

Unable to score in the Champions League, Mike Maignan’s teammates are not ill. On the contrary, they are at the top of Serie A, tied with rival Inter Milan. In seven meetings, the Rossoneri have emerged victorious six times. They have only one (but severe) defeat, against Inter (5-1). So watch out for the trap match for the Parisians who will have to show more character than at St James Park on Wednesday evening.
