Basketball: First victory for Capela and Atlanta in the NBA

Clint Capela and Atlanta finally have their first victory of the season. After two defeats, the Hawks actually won against the Milwaukee Bucks – just that.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough for the Bucks. On the Atlanta side, Geneva pivot Clint Capela alternated between good and bad. He became the author of a new “double double”: lined up for a little over 23 minutes, he scored 12 points (5 of 10 shooting, 2 of 2 free throws) and captured 12 rebounds (2 offensive, 10 defensive). He finished the game with a differential of +15. But he also missed a dunk in incredible fashion:
Wembanyama and the Spurs overwhelmed
Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs, overwhelmed, suffered a heavy defeat on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday (123-83).
The French prodigy, for his third NBA game – the first away – was contained to 11 points (5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block) in 26 minutes of play, two days after having shone for his first victory against in Houston.
This relative poor performance did not worry his coach Gregg Popovich: “Victor must discover our championship, he has never played against all these guys before, nor with those on our team. There is no magic formula, it has to go through lots of stages. Fortunately, he is an intelligent, serious, conscientious young man. He will surely become a great player, but he has to learn first. If he plays the right way, then maybe the basketball gods will be kind to him. Because he has the ability. He will quickly become the leader, it’s just a matter of time.”
