Here we go again for a season which promises to be busy for the judo club of the Nerac city.
Since the first week of September, new figures have come to test the multiple disciplines offered within the association: judo for children and adults, MMA combat, taïso, muscle strengthening, self-defense. From Tuesday to Saturday, the martial arts room is always full. Nérac Albret Judo received a silver federal label for this season, which places it among the 200 best clubs in France (around 5,000 judo clubs in France) and which rewards the quality and dynamics of the association in the landscape. local and federal.
190 licensees
The start of the 2023 school year is also marked by an award presented by the Departmental Judo Committee 47 which once again places Nérac as the best club in the department through its results and its involvement within the region. With a workforce of 190 members, the Albret club travels to the four corners of France, but also abroad.
A group of around twenty judokas will also travel to Madridejos (city in the province of Toledo, twinned with Nérac) at the end of September for an international judo course and a tournament. Subsequently, a series of regional and national tournaments will help prepare for the objectives of the coming season.

Entertainment in Nérac
For several years, the Nérac judo club has been trying to find a place in the landscape of Nérac entertainment. Like many associations which are seeing their subsidies decrease, the judo club is looking for sponsors and other patrons who wish to associate their image with this martial discipline. On Saturday October 7, in partnership with the Brasseurs de l’Albret, the club will participate in the Ocktober Fest.
