All ten stadiums are “very easy to reach by public transport”. The tickets are valid as public transport tickets.
The first sales phase for EM tickets ends this Thursday (2 p.m.). Just over a million cards are on offer – without a specific pairing having yet been determined. It continues after the draw for the group phase on December 2nd. At the moment, fans are still buying the “game in a bag,” said Dulinski and warned of financial risks. The EM organizers expect more than ten million inquiries. Whoever gets the tickets will then be drawn.
Hotel costs are already rising
A significant increase in hotel costs can be observed almost eight months before the tournament. Especially in the cities of the top games such as the opening game on June 14th with Germany in Munich and the final on July 14th in Berlin. “The fact is that such major events have an impact on prices in the hotel and restaurant industry. It can also be assumed that prices will increase, at least in individual venues, once it is known which teams are playing when and where,” said Dulinski. “The size and financial strength of the respective following will also have an impact here.”

Markus Luthe, the general manager of the German Hotel Association (IHA), said in response to a DPA inquiry that Germany’s hoteliers would “show themselves to be open, warm and professional hosts”. Price calculation is “a major business asset and depends on various factors such as location, supply and demand, competitor situation and costs”. Luthe recommends booking directly with the “desired houses”.
