Bärnbach/Köflach signs ÖHB veteran Weber – sport.ORF.at

Bärnbach/Köflach announced a transfer coup on Wednesday. The Styrians signed Robert Weber, who has played successfully abroad since 2008, mainly in the German Bundesliga. The 213-time ÖHB national player became, among other things, the first Austrian to be the top scorer in the German league with 271 goals (2014/15). A total of over 2,500 hits in the German league means fifth place in the all-time list of throwers.

“I am incredibly happy and happy to be able to play for this traditional Austrian club. I didn’t think twice about deciding. The goals of the club are now also my goals. We want to at least reach eighth place, we want to get to the quarterfinals,” said Weber.
