The Apex Legends Season 19 patch notes are now available, detailing all the changes big and small to Legends, maps, weapons and more.

Season 19 of Apex Legends kicks off on October 31, featuring the new season as Conduit, a new support legend, after the last season left out a new character.

Updates have also been made to the Storm Zone map, as well as a host of balance adjustments for weapons and legendaries.

NEW FEATURE: PROMOTION TESTS

During Season 19, players will have the opportunity to compete in promotion events when they reach the maximum level cap. During this type of event, EP gains and losses are “frozen”, which allows players to concentrate on their objective.

Satisfying the conditions of an event within the limits on the number of games (either by winning a game or reaching the alternative) triggers a promotion to the next level with a bonus of 250 EP. Failure to pass the test within the limit of authorized games disqualifies the player and penalizes him with a certain number of EPs depending on his performance. Each event is initially limited to a total of 5 games, which increases each time the player fails and then takes part in the same event, up to a maximum of ten attempts. Promotion events are unavailable during provisional games.

RANKED MATCH UPDATE

If you missed the recent communication from the dev team on reddit, know that in Catching Fire we have made some adjustments to ranked matches:

Increase in the ranking bonus granted to help players reach their level level. Reduced bonus refusals that could compromise the progress of players seeking to reach their skill cap. Adjusted provisional bonuses to help players reach their statistical goal of 1.5 levels difference at the end of their 10 provisional games.

SUPPRESSION restrictions relating to classification differences for the 3 predefined levels. Players can now play with friends regardless of their level of progression, but their squad may face more difficult encounters if there is a significant difference between the abilities of different squad members.
