Andrey Rublev Dominates Adrian Mannarino in Straight Sets at Masters 1000

The Andrey Rublev obstacle was too indigestible for Adrian Mannarino. The Frenchman, who remained on six consecutive victories between his title in Kazakhstan and his entry into contention in Shanghai, could not do much against the seventh player in the world, winner in straight sets (6-3, 6-0 ). The Russian will face the American Tommy Paul in the round of 16 of the Masters 1000, who dominated Arthur Fils earlier in the day.

By conceding his serve on a missed smash from his first throw-in, Mannarino launched into this duel on a very bad footing. And he never managed to get over it. The first set lost, he gave up his entry serve in the second act before breaking down again on his next play. His little signs of annoyance were not misleading, the Frenchman had no solution and he was never able to stop the bleeding.
