Like Jeff Gorton, experts in Journal refused to pronounce the word that begins with “p” (or with “s”, in French)and obviously did not place the Canadian in the playoffs this season in their predictions.
But in their eyes, Cole Caufield will still score a lot of goals, Nick Suzuki will be the one who scores the most points in the French uniform and Sean Monahan should be the nice surprise in Montreal this year.
As for the Stanley Cup, it is Jake Oettinger— (who will be a serious candidate for the Vezina Trophy) and the Dallas Stars who should carry it at arm’s length.
Connor McDavid should participate in the final, and could even finally win the precious trophy, but in the eyes of many, he will still have to wait before drinking from the cup.
