AC Milan Coach Stefano Pioli Involved in Conflict with Captain Davide Calabria After Draw Against Napoli

TRIBUNKALTARA.COM – As the AC Milan vs Napoli draw continued, Stefano Pioli reportedly had a conflict with the Rossoneri captain.

Now AC Milan has dropped to third place in the 2023-2024 Italian League standings after being matched by Napoli in the duel which was held Monday (30/10/2023) early morning WIB

From the 10 matches played, AC Milan collected 22 points.

The draw with Napoli apparently not only made AC Milan’s position drop, but also made the club’s dressing room heated up.

Reported by BolaSport.com from Football Italia, AC Milan coach, Stefano Pioli, reportedly started arguing with two senior players, namely Davide Calabria and Olivier Giroud.

The conflict between Davide Calabria and Stefano Pioli itself actually started since AC Milan’s defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

At that time, the captain voiced his frustration with the Rossoneri’s performance.

This statement was finally neutralized by Pioli as soon as possible.

However, Calabria’s frustrations haven’t stopped there.

However, Pioli immediately clarified the news about the conflict.

“We wanted to give our best to achieve our target and we didn’t succeed,” said Pioli.

“We couldn’t be happy and smile after losing. We have clarified and now we are better than before.”

“There were wrong things said in the press room after the game, but it’s all good, we’ve cleared the air and we’re moving forward.”
