Abel Ruiz was a promising Barcelona youth player, captain of the European champion and world runner-up under-17 team when he decided to find a life outside of La Masia. He went to Sporting de Braga as part of the Trincao signing operation – what times – and there he has found happiness.
Trincao went from loan to loan until he settled at Sporting de Portugal, which this summer paid seven million for his transfer, which added to the three that he paid for his loan last season represents a third of what Barcelona paid to Braga.
